Join us for the 2026 Chief's picnic in Salem, OR. Each year the Community & Cultural Outreach program hosts meetings with all CCO participating at-large organizations where departments of the Cherokee Nation attend to provide information and community building to Cherokee Nation citizens living at-large. These meetings include providing at-large citizens with various services, cultural crafts, stories, and games, etc. Lunch is provided so that citizens, friends, and families in this area can commune together while partaking in the activities.

If you plan to attend the picnic, RSVP here. This helps let us know who wishes to carpool and who is able to volunteer. Volunteer activities include transporting materials, unpacking and packing supplies, staffing our outreach table, or transporting elders.

Gadugi Corps seeking volunteers for the Cherokee Nation At-Large Chief visit event on August 2nd, 2026. It will be from noon to 4 pm. Volunteers begin setup at 10 am or earlier. Reach out to Will at 541-799-4036 to let him know if you plan on helping out.
