Short Film Screening of Redbird by Emma Barrow

Come see a screening of "Redbird", a short film written and directed by our own Emma Barrow! This film tells the story of a Cherokee woman fighting to protect her niece from an unlawful adoption by her white grandparents as she reckons with feeling distant from her own culture. The film is showing as part of the Indigenous Short Film Block of the Portland Panorama Film Festival at the Hollywood Theatre (upstairs) on Saturday, 4/18 at 2 pm. Tickets are now on sale.
